"Cultivate an attitude of happiness. Cultivate a spirit of optimism. Walk with faith, rejoicing in the beauties of nature, in the goodness of those you love, in the testimony which you carry in your heart concerning things divine."

Dirty Paws

No more bathing AJ in our tub! That is certainly a thing of the past!
We discovered this great self service dog grooming place called "Dirty Paws". It was just up the street from us and surprisingly cheap. It was so cute to get all our aprons on give AJ a good scrub down, blow dry, and brush, and believe me he certainly needed it! His fur felt so soft and silky afterwards and he smelled great!

The Apartments

Here are some pictures of our new apartment complex in San Diego. It has been wonderful so far. It hasn't been as hard as I thought going from a 4 bedroom huge house to an apartment. We live in a gorgeous area and I feel like I am at a resort most of the time. It a simple life and we love it! As we all know "Home is where your heart is".

Tea Time

It has become a tradition among the ladies of Francis Parker Lower School to go out to a fabulous tea to celebrate their birthdays and in particular their 60th birthday. As you can see from these photos these lovely ladies look way too young to own up to such an age nevertheless we all had a wonderful time and laughed a little too much if such a thing is possible. Happy Birthday Mom we love you oh so much and you will always have a permanent place in our hearts.

When there is a will there is a way...
"I too believe that God will always make a way where there is no way. I believe that if we will walk in obedience to the commandments of God, if we will follow the counsel of the priesthood, he will open a way even where there appears to be no way."

Service
"Christ knows how to minister to others perfectly. When the Savior stretches out His hands, those He touches are uplifted and become greater, stronger, and better people as a result. If we are His hands, should we not do the same?"
--Dieter F. Uchtdorf, "You Are My Hands", Ensign May 2010, 68-70, 75
I just wanted to take a moment to say "thank you". We will truly miss our ward family. We greatly appreciated all those who stepped forward in the final days before our move. It was an enormous job for one person but together it was possible. I am very grateful for those who gave of their service, time, and energy.(Even little Jospeh Craner was carrying items to the truck!) Well- We made it to San Diego, dog and all, safe and sound. Our new chapter begins and we will always remember our "double mission" (as we like to call it) in Lehi. Over the past 4 years we grew and bonded as a family and with the community. We will not only miss everyone but over beautiful home there. The future is bright and we are very hopeful that it will all turn out well. Thanks for the love!
