Watching Dante

With a name like "Dante" I wasn't expecting him to be so white.

He has not only held my hand but has touched my heart.

Dante and I hit it off from day one and it has been an unforgettable experience watching him.
There is something about spending time with someone for more than 12 hours a day 6 days a week that just creates this incredible bond. I can honestly say that I love him and care about him deeply.


We got to spend his 1st birthday together so I had to take a few pictures.

After 3 years of faithfully participating in the cub scout program it is time for Aidan to move up to Boy Scouts. He has worked very hard and has proved himself worthy. He has earned one of the highest achievements in Cub Scouts and that is the Arrow of Light award. Congratulations Aidan!!! We are very proud of you!!!

Honor Roll

Jordan made honor roll!!! We shouldn't be surprised he works very hard, is so responsible, and is eager to learn. Brandon took this picture with his phone right after the ceremony. Since the school year is just beginning one must wonder how is this possible but its actually recognition for last semester. We know he is just as determined now in his 8th grade year to accomplish his goals. He was given the extra challenge he needs by being enrolled in advanced classes such as 10th grade geometry and high school Spanish. We are confident that he will have another awesome year. Jordan we are so proud of you!!! Keep it up!

Baby Lizards

I was sitting out by the pool when all of a sudden I noticed a baby lizard next to me on the ground. I had never seen a lizard that small before so I called quickly to the boys to come check it out. To our surprise, scattered about, there were 4 of them. We kept our distance but then Brandon came out and just picked one up! So Jordan and Brandon had their fun holding the lizards for a while. They were so cute!

Happy Birthday AIDAN!!!!

Our sweet Aidan is now 11 years old!!!

He of course was so excited for his birthday he was even counting down the days until the BIG day. To his surprise instead of making his cake like we usually do or creating a ice cream sandwich pyramid we bought him a delicious and fun Phineas and Ferb cake. He loved it! After cake, ice cream, presents and shooting him with silly string we headed off to John's Incredible Pizza Co. He had his fill of games, tickets, prizes and pizza. What more could an 11 yr old boy want!?!?! He had so much fun and his brothers were thrilled to be a part of it too. Happy Birthday Aidan we love you!
