We just finished Aidan's Birthday party! After everyone arrived, the relay races began! We had in total 21 kids. We did the usual dribble with the ball, now backwards, running, egg on the spoon, now backwards.. and a water balloon toss. Then we had some free play while we were setting up inside. Cake, ice cream and presents ofcourse BUT the best part was when all the kids were singing to Aidan and at the final moment... when he was blowing the candles... Brandon shot silly string on the crowd and yes the crowd went wild!! It was so much FUN!!! I love throwing parties for the kids they are always sooooo happy which makes all the work worth it!!!Happy Birthday Aidan. We love you!! You are amazing!!

Great quote!
Stephen R. Covey said, "We are not humans sent to earth to have a spiritual experience, we are spirits sent to earth to enjoy a human experience."
Aidan special night

We had an opportunity to take Aidan out for some one on one time which he was really excited about. (Jordan had a friday fun night at the school from 6-11pm-- eating, games, read a thon etc sooo much fun.) So anyway we took Aidan out for Pizza then to the dollar theater to see Kung Fu Panda-- which by the way was the 3rd time we had seen it in the theater. Since it was such a cheap movie, only $1.50 we got him popcorn, drink and candy a cute little tray of food they have available for kids for only $2!!! You can't beat that!! We had so much fun!It was nice for it to be "just us" and he was very excited to sit inbetween both daddy and I. : ) It was very cute!
A night out!
We decided to take the boys out to a very nice restaurant for FHE to pracitce manners, ordering etc and ofcourse have some quality time together since Noah was on vacation : ) The boys did an outstanding job and we are very proud of them. We had a GREAT night and the food was delicious!! The boys felt very grown up. We still had them dress casual to feel relaxed and not go overbaord. It was a night to remember. Also Thanks to Mom and Dad for the night out. It was a great gift for our anniversary!! (this was BEFORE I started my health kick again in case anyone was curious!)

Motivation!

A time to indulge and a time to WORK!
We having been indulging since my birthday! Going out to dinner, eating way too delicious desserts and doing it too often. All of sudden it was my b-day, anniversary, Dad's b-day and we received all these gift certificates to go out AND WE DID!! It was all delicious and we are so grateful for the gifts I love going out to eat but now its time to work!! Now granted every time I ate a dessert or went out to eat I would hop on my bike and ride for an hour or do an intense workout but you'll never burn enough calories that way-- the food is crucial to the plan! So we are back on track eating healthy and exercising a lot more. I hope by next month I'll have some great results to report. Though I weigh the same as I did before pigging out (thankfully) I just feel blah! And I want to feel tone and strong and hopefully, super hopefully, lose 5-10 more pounds IF my body will go that low while still being realistic with my eating and exercise goals. Only time will tell : ) Consistency is key!

Utah State Fair
Last Saturday we went to the Utah State Fair. It was the perfect day for it too. Temp in the 80's, bright sunny day. It was beautiful. It reminded me so much of Del Mar Fair. We saw all the animals, a tiger show, ate too much food, went on a bunch a fun rides, and finally the boys got to experience being a farmer. They even sold their food/crops at a mock farmers market where they got play money and then were able to purchase someting real. Noah bought chocolate milk and the boys a snack. It was awesome and such a great teaching tool. Since it was the boys and my Dad we skipped all the shopping booths but it didn't bother me one bit -- this way I didn't spend too much money!! Enjoy the pics!
Cub Scouts
Jordan LOVES scouts. ITs such a perfect program for him. Why? Because if anyone knows Jordan he thrives on recognition. He'll do just about ANYTHING if there is a patch he can earn for it. He loves the feeling of accomplishment. Pretty soon Aidan will also be a scout. It's so much fun!!! And they learn so many things to prepare them for life and the world.

Pampie and Noah
Pampie and Noah are so bonded. Pretty much since birth they had a special connection. When we picked Pampie up from the airport Noah jumped off my lap ran to him full speed ahead and held onto him for like 20 mins!! It was beautiful to watch. He wouldn't let go and he wouldn't move even though we were blocking the path for people to pass by. It was quite a scene. We kept asking him to move and ok lets getting pampie's suitcase now and he would simply say "No, I stay right here" Of course it made Dad's day to feel so loved and so welcomed!! They love eachother so much!!
Happy Birthday Pampie!!!!
We threw Pampie a party and got everything ready while he was napping. Ran to the store got supplies for dinner, presents, a delcious chocoalte mousse cake, trick candles, a crown, and ofcourse silly string!!! He had a blast. You can tell by the REAL smiles!! Enjoy the pics!! We love you PAMPIE!!!! Happy Birthday!!!

Crazy morning!!
Did you ever have one of those mornings.... you wake up late but you are still excited for the day you've got a lot to do but its a happy busy.... well I run downstairs make everyone breakfast (my dad is also in town) the boys haven't showered yet and they've got 5 mins!!! Breakfast was great though, good food, great conversation and then.... it's time to go no one is showered we are rushing like crazy... its tense, stressful , and now the homework folder that is ALWAYs in Aidan back pack is suddenly gone even though he did homework last night!! We tearing the house apart to look for it Brandon and I are arguing cuz he was in charge of homework yesterday since I went to the airport the clock is ticking we decide to forget it and he'll just have to suffer the consequence at school we are already ten mins. late I showered inbetween the craziness and I'm even yelling down the hall in my towel "boys grab your lunch boxes off the counter" "don't forget to brush your teeth" etc etc I hate mornings like this. We jump in the car and now it doesn't even start!!! My dad says "oh you've got to be kidding!" and I have to be at the dr.'s in 15 mins! I call the dr. tell them I'm waiting for my Husband to come back from work to jump the car and then in my craziness ask the receptionist if she'll jump my car when I leave there so I can get home!! My Dad now is busting up laughing and says "Did you seriusly just ask your dr.s office to give you a jump!!" So Brandon's working on the car and I've got to go. Thought I'd share! But hey we're still going to make it a GREAT day!!

12 years!
I'm so glad to have you all in my life. Today Brandon and I are celebrating 12 years of marriage! Can you believe it!?!?! It goes by in a blink. I am so grateful to have him as a husband. He is my best friend --loves to hear all my stories, loves my passion for life and thinks I am the greatest. he never gets tired of me and that is amazing cuz I exhaust myself sometimes. Brandon is amazing. His testimony of the gospel is so solid, beyond solid and the way he lives his life proves that. He doesn't fear anything especially death. He says that if you truly believe the gospel then one would be so happy and not worry -- and he truly lives that way. He teaches Elder's quorum and I am always amazed by his lessons and how much knowledge he has not only of the gospel but church history etc etc. He has an incredible way of explaining things so that one can understand with ease. He is such a wonderful Father- he finds every excuse to play with his kids and is very involved with their education in school and the world. He even plays Nintendo with them and is always interested in what they are interested in. He has so much love for our family. And though he can seem tough on the outside he treats me like a princess and has never expected anything from me but love. He never puts me down or belittles me, he is always complimenting me in one way or another ... oh there is so much I could say. I guess I wish that I could be more like him. We joke that we are complete opposites and sometimes when we fight we say that we are too different but in reality we are a perfect match and he is VERY similar to me as far as interests, hopes, dreams, ambition and desire. We are the same in all the important things. And really that is all that matters. I love him more that words can describe and that why we say "I that other thing you". We've been through so much together as mom would say we could write a book! Through it all, especially trials, it has only brought us closer together. He's my man for eternity. Cheers to a great 12 years!
