Noah is a "SUPER STAR"

We just got back from the "Super Star" Assembly. Noah was so excited to be earning an award at school especially from the very first assembly of the year. He is so used to seeing his brothers earn different forms of recognition from school and scouts but today was his day! He even said afterwards "My dream came true I got an award". He is so sweet!. The award reads: Kumeyaay Elementary, Super Star, presented to Noah Harrison, October 13 2010, Linda Aquilera (his teacher) Room K 1 . You should have seen his face when the principal called his name. So proud, so happy. The principal read the back of the award a loud :

"Noah is a wonderful role model for his classmates. His enthusiasm to learn and his hard work benefits everyone in our class. His dedication to learning is paying off. Way to go, Noah!"

We are so happy for Noah and we are so glad that he is progressing and learning at school. Last year he really enjoyed preschool, with brothers more than 5 years older he was more focused on socializing with kids his own age rather than academics. He has always had a love of learning but we didn't push him as much as we pushed the other boys. His preschool teacher even recommended that we have Noah do another year of preschool because he was young and didn't rattle off all that he was supposed to be memorizing for class but she couldn't see all that he was learning, absorbing and applying in his little life like we could. He was so ready for kindergarten and I am glad that he is proving how capable he is. Noah we are very proud of you!
